The Profile Template download contains the profile_template shapefile (.dbf, .prj, .sbn, .sbx, .shp, .shp.xml, .shx) that is used in redelineating existing floodplain maps to new terrain sources.

A copy of the profile_template shapefile is used to:

• provide finished profile dimensions used to georeference a tiff image of the FIS profile;
• digitize the water surface elevations, cross sections and structures and assign attributes;
• assign attributes to the sheet identification line.

To Install Template Files:

1. Click the Download link and save the .exe file to a folder on your computer.
2. Double-click the .exe file to unzip the package.
3. Under Unzip to folder, select the location to unzip the files.  If you are using WISE installed on a server through Citrix Client software, click Browse and select the location on the server of the working folder. You can also copy the files to a working folder after unzipping them to C.
4. Click Unzip.
